Bystronic Laser Cutting & Amada CNC Punching

CNC technologies are used for laser cutting and turret punching and allow for a wide range of parts to be completed in a single set-up. Each of the two technologies has unique advantages that make them appropriate for certain job types. Hilliard Precision Products can specialize in high or short run production of sheet metal parts because we have both of these fabulous machines.

Welding Specialty

Knowledge of opposing weld stresses, pre-cambering, weld preparation, and fixturing comes only from decades of experience as specialists in stainless steel weld fabrications. Equipment is state-of-the-art and highly-skilled employees add their experience to the manufacture of demanding tolerance weldments and difficult fabrications.

Trumpf & Amada Forming Equipment

Hydraulic forming brakes are CNC-controlled up to 200 tons and bend lengths to 14 feet with three-dimensional displays of forming sequences for precise repeatability. European style tooling is hardened and ground, ensuring precision of +/- .003" and consistency of +/- .004"  during the forming of sheets ranging from .015" to .250" in thickness.

The Art of Stainless Steel Polishing

Despite the advances of modern technology, polishing is an art, not a science. The three-dimensional nature of most work does not lend itself to automated polishing techniques; rather, Hilliard's staff of more than a dozen artisans create finishes that range from #180 grit to 5 Ra mirror finishes. Applications for the meticulous work include medical, pharmaceutical, architectural, and microchip manufacturing parts and products.
